  • Thermoregulation is a process that allows your body to maintain its core internal temperature.

  • All thermoregulation mechanisms are designed to return your body to homeostasis.

  • However, if you get to the extremes of body temperature, it can affect your body's ability to function.

Answer:

Importance of thermoregulation of our body

Explanation:

The main function of our body physiology  is to maintain normal body homeostatis.Thermoregulation also belongs to normal body homeostatis.

The normal body temperature of human body is 98.4 degree fahranheit. The thermoregulation of human body is done by the hypothalamus. When the body temperature falls at that time hypothalumus send signals to generate heat by increasing bodies metabolic rate by various exergonic process such as glycolysis or breakdown of glucose to pyruvate,TCA cycle and oxidative phosphorylation.when body tempurature rises at that time body liberate the excess heat in fom of sweat through the vasodialation of blood vessels of the skin.

Thyroxine hormone also play an important role to regulate body temperature.

importance of thermoregulation is very much essential because rise in body temperature more than 108 degree death occur on the other hand a terrible  fall of body temperature can collapse our bdy
