Explanation:
The story is named Adolf after the rabbit, because all the characters of the story, their emotions, curiosity, anxiety, pain etc revolved around a little brown rabbit which the narrator’s father rescued from the field. The rabbit was in a bad condition when it was rescued and the children were quite happy to see the new pet. But their mother was not at all, knowing the inevitable fate. Later on, after trying a lot, the rabbit showed no signs of recovering or eating and continued to remain stationery which made the hearts of the children sink in grief.
