Answer:
Threshing is the process of separation of grain from the stalk on which it develops and from the chaff or unit that covers it. In the process, the edible part of the crop is loosened but not the fibre part. It is done after harvesting and before winnowing.

Answer: Threshing is the process of separation of grain from the stalk on which it develops and from the chaff or unit that covers it. When a farmer threshes wheat crop in his fields, he gets a mixture of wheat grains and husk. Now, before wheat grains can be used, husk has to be removed from them. The husk is separated from wheat grains by the method of winnowing. Winnowing is the method of separating husk from grains with the help of wind.
