Makar sakrantri is the most remarkable festival celebrated all over India. In India different states have given different names to this festival eg: south Indians call it pongal and maharastrians call it as makar sankratri .During this festival people distribute til gul because it is winter season and in winter season if people it any food made with till they will not fell cold.
