➡The evaporation of water from the leaves of plant is called Transpiration.

➡The continuous evaporation of water from the cells of leaf creates a kind of suction which pulls the water through the xylem cells.In this way ,the process help in movement in upward direction .

➡This creates a cooling effect in aerial parts.
