Essential materials in living organisms

Explanation:

All living organisms need essential materials that are required for different developmental process.

Essential materials are oxygen, carbon, calcium, nitrogen, phosphorus, irons, potassium, sulfur, magnesium, chlorine, vitamin, water etc.

Transport of these materials prevent diseases.

Oxygen is required by mitochondria to produce ATP.

Nitrogen is require for development and growth. It is also requires to produce peptide and proteins.

Potassium is important as it is require for propagating nerve impulse, nerve conduction, and regulation of heart beat.

Calcium and phosphorus is present in bone and teeth.

Sodium is require for nerve transmission and muscle function.

Importance of essential materials in living organism

Explanation:

  • All living organism require some basic products within which materials are important for their survival, growth and physiological development.
  • Minerals such as iron, sodium, potassium, zinc, nitrogen, carbon, oxygen, phosphorus etc are important and intake of these metals reduces several diseases which are live threatening.
  • Nitrogen is important for growth and development of plant and animals.
  • Sodium is require to maintain the water salt level in the body.
  • Iron deficiency may cause anemia as hemoglobin will not produced from RBC.
  • Iodine deficiency may cause goiter disease. Thus it is very important for taking essential minerals in our regular diet chart.
