Why is tungsten metal is used in electric bulb not in fuse?

It is because tungsten has a very high melting point. If it is used as a fuse wire, then it will not melt even whe large amount of current is passed through it, and the appliance will be be damaged. tungsten is used in bulbs because it has high melting point..✌️✌️✌️

A tungston has a very high melting point and thus it wont burn in a bulb but will not fulfil the purpose of a fuse wire to burn away in case of excess current. SO cant be used.
