Answer

  • to produce light more amount of heat is required.
  • when we use metal's with low melting point it may melts
  • but tungsten wire have highest melting point
  • that is =3422°c
  • hence it use for making filament of bulb

Answer:

The filament of an electric bulb is usually made of tungsten, because of its higher resistivity value

(5.56 ×10^-8 Ωm) and its highmelting point (3422°c).
