tungsten metal used in bulbs because it has high resistance and high melting point but it's not used in fuse wires because fuse wires should have high resistance and low melting point so that it will easily burn out and break the circuit.

Answer:

Tungsten is not used as fuse wire because it has a high melting point and if we use it the definetly the fuse will not work and in case of high voltage the bulbs and appliances will get fused.
