why is tungsten metal used in bulbs but not in fuse wires

hey mate ur ans

tungsten metal is used in bulbs because it has tolerate a large amount of heat

and also

it provides resistance for bulb to glow

Because when current flow tungsten metal it heated and glow...and if we put it in fuse wire then it will burn cozz of heating..Then how will it help from short circuit
