  Why is tungsten metal used in bulbs but not in fuse wires?

tungsten is used to glow bulb as it glows bulb it will tolerate excess electricity it cannot be used in fuses as wires of fuse should tolerate exact electricity

tungsten is a metal used in electric bulbs as when it is heated at a high temperature. It glows and gives light.
but fuse wires r made for cutting electrical supply when high amount of electricity is passed through it.
the main reasons behind it is
:-) causes electric short circuit
:-) short circuit causes fire
