Uniform linear motion is the motion in which acceleration is zero. Both the direction and magnitude of the velocity remains constant in uniform linear motion, hence it is not an accelerated motion. Either there is no external force applied or the net force applied on the object is zero.

Uniform linear motion is “UNIFORM” because it’s velocity is constant throughout motion.
If velocity doesn’t change by time then it is said to have zero acceleration.
Hence it’s not an accelerated motion.
