Why is union parliament of india is considered as the most powerful legislative institutipn?

There are many countries in world which have sovereign parliament, which means parliament over powerful. Recieves no authority from anyone to regulate or legislate. Example of this is United Kingdom.

While some of them have provisions to Judicial review ( Judiciary power to review enacted laws ) by which supreme court or highest Judicial institute of respective country can over rule enacted law on the basis of unconstitutional base or any other reason.
