Unsaturated bonds are more reactivedue to the presence of pi overlapping whereas the saturated bonds have sigma overlapping due to which they are more strong and so less reactive. Since unsaturated hydrocarbonscontain pi bonds which is easy to break i.e., it has less bond dissociation energy .

Because they have double bond and triple bond while saturated hydrocarbons become only when we introduce groups of atoms to it
