why is USA called a western country while India is called Eastern country ?

"The New World". It's an old term that's no longer considered a literal description, but we hang onto it because it's linguistically convenient.When you say "Western countries" anyone with a basic grounding in geopolitics can immediately infer which countries and cultures you mean. It's certainly less of a mouth ful than saying "Europe, the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and possibly some parts of Latin America". only for USA.

Here USA is a western country as it lies in the west direction of the earth of last hand side of Mother India. Same situation with India as it lies east direction of the earth of right hand side of USA. Due this the culture also begins of eastern and western fashion. ..
