thyroxine hormone is produced by the thyroid gland of our body
thyroxine hormones controls fat, carbohydrate and protien metabolism in our body
deficiancy of thyroxine can cause goitre
since iodised salt contains adequate of iodine which helps in synthesising thyroxine
therefore
iodised is advisable in our diet to prevent defiency of thyroxine
