variation is of much importance due to many reasons..
for example if we are residing at a place and we have many shops of clothes only..there is no any other option than it..Will it be better for us to reside there?
for sustainability of the population the overall demands need to be fulfiled..
Also, take an another example of any species which is residing in very cold climate but due to any dramatic climatic change the temperature of the increased very much..If there would be no variation then all will die if there is no one which is able to evolve
there.. i.e.there species will be most prone to any calamity if there is no variation..
Consider if most of them die but few of them able to retain themselves alive due to extra property of heat tolerence in them, they will able to save their species of getting ruined..
conclusively,if we consider whole natural phenomenon,we will reach at the point that variation keeps much importance for the survial of a population..
