Answer:
Hey mate, this is your answer.
Explanation:
The question is interesting! Mercury is closest planet to sun and Venus is second closest planet. Yet, venus is hotter than mercury. But how?
Let's see why:-
There are many reasons. Venus have a thick atmosphere. It have slowest rotational velocity in solar system, which makes its year smaller than its a day. That's why it couldn't generate magnetic field around it. Ok, should we start our experiment?
Let's take sunlight which is fallen on mercury. Mercury is too close, so it has to face a lot of energy which makes it superhot.
Now, sunlight is fallen on Venus. Some of light is absorbed by surface and some of gets reflected. That reflected light strikes with atoms of thick atmosphere and some of it reflected back on ground. Is that familiar? Yeah! It is Global Warming. If you are not worried about Global warming of earth, have a look towards Venus! It's not less than a hell. Venus have no protection for solar wind (magnetic field). So it's just like to add insult to injury. Solar wind is a stream of charged particles that are shooted from Sun towards outside with high velocity. Earth have a protective layer of magnetic field which saves us from solar wind. Venus have not! So it raised up the temperature of surface of venus. Now, heat wants to release from surface to space but atmosphere is so thick that it blocks it.
