Why is violet more bent through red light when sunlight is passed through the prism?
When a narrow beam of sunlight is passing on a glass prism, the emergent rays of light when fall on a screen, a band of different colours is seen in the screen. Hence the red light passes least, and as the violet light is very close to red light and it has shorter wavelength. That's why it bents the most through red light.
