why is water in steam considered to be in gaseous state rather than liquid?

here answer.. frndWhen it melts the water which is formed is made up the same waterparticles and when it boils the steam is also made up of the same waterparticles. Particles stay the same unless there is a chemical change whether the matter is solid, liquid orgas. ... Consequently sugar is soluble in water.
