why is water liquid at room temperature?

Because water change its state at 100 ° C and 0°C , and the room temperature is about 25°C- 30°C. So ,it is liquid at room temperature.

Temperature of the room is lesser, so there is no change of state of water, hence it is liquid at room temperature.
