why is water not used to control fire caused due to electrical equipment

→Whenever we pour water on them I.e.electrical equipments , there is a chance of getting shock.

→The fire also increases.

→In this case , carbon dioxide extinguishers are used.

Water is gud conductor of electricity so if its used to control fire caused due to the electrical equipment than fire will spread and cause more damage....

SO sand is used to put off fire caused by the electrical equipment...
