Without cheap coast it may transform one material from one country to another country..if we transfer in a trucks than it s very expensive and it need many days to went there .....

Water transport is cheaper than road transport because it moves naturally in waterand there is no requirement for investing capital in constructing and maintaining the tracks as in case of railways or roadways. It can carry heavy loads at low costs
