Why is Water type fire extinguisher not used for electrical or metal fires?

Water type fire extinguisher is not used in electrical fires because if we use water on an electrical fire there is a chance of getting electric shock, this may lead to minor or major injuries, or fatal death due to shock, thatswhy it is consulted not to use Water type fire extinguisher in cases electrical or metal fires.
