the heart simply contains a small amount of arteries and blood, which goes out right the moment it comes in. It is basically a mass of muscle tissue, which when weighed together with the rest of the organs, such as the liver and the brain, as well as all the internal substances, it is very light. The arteries leading to and withdrawing from the heart do not count as part of the heart itself.
