Why is weight of an object on the moon 1/6th its weight on the earth?

because on moon their is low gravity than Earth

Answer:

because there gravity is not so power full and it does not have atmosphere surrounded it which can increase friction and that is about only 1/6th is the earth because only of one friction which is gravity.
