The winter is called harsh because the climate is extremely cold and the temperature is really low. Many plants find it difficult to thrive in this low temperature. Most of the damage is not done because of the cold climate. Some plants suffer more than others and the impact varies from plant to plant. Flower buds are among the most affected during winter season.
