WHY IS WORK A SCALAR???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? In other words, work done due to displacement caused by a force is a scalarquantity. The dot product of vector quantities is always scalar which means it is has only magnitude and no direction.
