we can write 1/x² in the form of x having negative power ² and we know that polynomials don't have a negative power therefore 1/x² isn't a polynomial

Answer:

becoz a polynomial is an expression containing variables and coefficients and where the power of variable is a whole number.

x^2 has the power 2

whereas 1/x^2 has power -1 after solving it

whole numbers start from 0,1,2,3,.....infinity but there is no negative integer included in category of whole numbers
