why is zimbabwe is not considered as a democratic country please give long answer

Zimbabwe has attain its freedom in the year of 1980.only one party rules there since independence that is zanu-pf.its leader is Robert Mugabe.after independence the elections always won by zanu-pf president Mugabe several times held election in not nice manner opposition party are harassed. public protest against the government declared illegal newspaper press has been harassed. so Zimbabwe under Robert Mugabe is not considered democratic.
