Answer:

Zimbabwe is an African nation, that attained independence from the Whites in 1980.

After its freedom, the country has been ruled by ZANU-PF a political party that also led the freedom struggle against the Whites.

The elections in Zimbabwe are held regularly, but only ZANU-PF emerges as the winner after every election

Answer:

Explanation:

Zimbabwe is not considered as democratic because:

(i) Robert Mugabe, the Prime Minister of Zimbabwe, didn't use the laws or the rules and regulations of democracy.

(ii) He didn't allow free & fair elections.

(iii) As he had played a major role to achieve freedom from the white minority of Zimbabwe, he always had an upper-hand in the politics of Zimbabwe.

(iv) He had media in his control. Oppositions were not considered to be righteous, their demands were unheard.

(v) Media always resembled the other side of the face of Mugabe.

Hope it Helps!!
