Zinc is more reactive than copper and will displace it.

CuS ——> CuO + So2

CuO + Zn ——> Cu + ZnO2

➡Firstly Ore undergoes the process of Leaching , in which it is treated with suitable reagents that seperates ore from impurities .

➡Now the copper goes through reduction process . As copper as lower reactivity than hydrogen so it is reduced using hydrogen .

Cu^2 + H2 ======> Cu + H2

Zinc us used because Zn is more reactive than copper .
