Candle flame contains unsaturated hydrocarbons which undergoes incomplete combustion on burning.

Due to this incomplete combustion, it forms a layer of black deposit on the cooking vessel and the fuel in the candle flame gets wasted.

Due to this reason it is not possible to cook on a candle flame.
