because our hairs are made up of dead cells when we take a haircut due to this reason that they are made up of dead cells they doesn't hurt us but when hairs are pulled it hurts as our hairs are attached with the skin at our top of the head, when hairs are pulled the skin gets hurt at top of the head and feels pain at ...

it's because the receptors sends a signal to ur sensory neuron then sensory neurons passes to CNS and carried by ur motor neurons back to skin..
when we cut our hair our sensory doesn't feel there's something wrong happening so it doesn't sends signal hence we don't get hurt ✌️
