why it is advised once should not breathe through mouth

in the nose there are tiny hairs and mucous that filter the aor as it flows through clearing as many dust particles as possible....

in the mouth thwre are no such hairs so the aor we breathe in is much more impure......

because, breathing from mouth is very harmful. your nose have the power of kill the bacteria but your mouth doesn't have that power. by breathing from mouth can directly harm you and your teeth. but breath taking from nose is safe. that's why people aren't saying breath from nose only.
