this is because in nose there are tiny hairs which prevent bacteria from entering a body but from mouth is not advised as there is nothing from which bacteria or any other body can be prevented to enter our body

It is advised to breathe through nose only and not through the mouth because the atmosphere contains a lot of toxic substances along with the oxygen or air.
Our nose contains tiny hairs inside it which holds the dust particles , smoke and other unnecessary particles and that particles are not able to enter in our body. and we get the pure air.
But if we inhale directly through our mouth the all the unnecessary particles will be passed through the muth inside the body and can cause harm to our body.
