why it is advised to hold gun tightly with shoulder when it is being fired

bz it apply a strong force to move very fast so if we not hold it tightly so there is some injury cause in hand

when you will not hold gun tighly with shoulder then it move backward direction according to law of principal of momentum so you become wounded..
