\huge\mathcal{Answer:}

Horses first evolved in open plains. As a prey species (one that other animals eat), they needed to be able to see quickly if another animal that might eat them (a predator) was nearby. Being able to rest or sleep standing up meant they could get their rest, but if they saw a predator, they could quickly run away

It is bad for a horse to sit at night because its body weight is greater than its legs.

The horse cannot sleep without standing because:

  • They feel comfortable while standing
  • The bones of horse connected with muscles in a specific way
  • They stand on its three legs and relax another leg
  • The horse sleep in a standing position and they are not worried to fall

Do horses are the ability to sit?

No, the horses are not able to sit.
