why it is dangerous to use a fuse made o f thick copper wire in the light circuit of a house

using a thick wire fuse made of copper is very dangerous because whenever if electricity will at a high rate then the wire of the fuse will not melt and this will cause overloading short circuit and can cause serious damage 
so, it is recommended to use thin wired fuse.
