Answer:

Wet wood produces more smoke and more harmful by-products, which pollute the air. With kiln dried wood, the drying process burns off sap and water from the wood, resulting in a more efficient and environmentally-friendly burn.

Answer:

why it is difficult to burn wet wood composed to dry wood?

Wet wood does not burn easily because it contains a lot of water. The moisture content of wet wood is very high due to which it does not reaches its ignition temperature very easily. All the heat energy supplied to it is first absorbed by the water present in it and is used as latent heat of vaporisation by the water and there is no rise in temperature until the water present in it is converted into vapour. As soon as the water dries up, the temperature of the wood starts rising and very soon it reaches its ignition temperature and burns out.

Hope this helps you
