a. Illiteracy and ill health form a vicious circle and hamper the growth and progress of the Nation.
b. An illiterate population is not aware about the basic hygiene, about nutritional standards for their families , hence become victims of ill health, disease.
c. The disadvantaged section of the society in turn keep their children also in such a state.
d. They fail to provide good education and also fail to maintain basic hygiene .
e. On the other hand, educated population become as asset to Nation's growth. Education contributes to their awareness who realise the importance of good health, of personal hygiene contributing in improving the overall standard of living and increasing nutritional status.
f. Both illiteracy and ill health are impediments in achieving society's development.
