because in the high mountains temprature is much cold.

Here's the answer:

• As you go to top of the mountain, availability of oxygen decreases.

• This is also true when mountaineers climb the mountains. So they find difficult in breathing as they move to top of the mountain.

•The oxygen is more less at high mountain regions when compared to plane areas at the ground. so flame burns with very less flame and hence it will be difficult to cook food.
