Why it is difficult to cut cloth using a pair of blunt scissors

see.... blunt scissors doesnt have a shrap edge and hence covers more surface area due to which less kinetic energy is exerted...for this reason its hard to cut cloth with blunt scissors

The area is larger of blunt blades to comparison to sharp edges blades.

We know,

So, due to large area, blunt blades have low pressure. 

Hence, it is difficult to cut the cloth using a scissor with blunt edges.
