why it is difficult to cut fruits from blunt edge of knife.

I Think:- It is difficult to cut fruits with blunt knife because it is not shape and it has more area

A sharp knife has a very thin edge and force which is produced by our hand falls on every small area producing larger pressure .But a blunt knife has a very big edge and force distributes to all the area producing small pressure. So,It is difficult to cut fruits from blunt edge of knife
