it is difficult to liquefy gases since their boiling points are very low & He has A VERY BOILING OVER 4 DEGREE KELVIN.IT IS MOREOVER A INERT GAS.IT HAS LOW ATOMIC MASS & ITS FEW PROPERTIES ARE SIMILAR TO THE IDEAL GAS.

Helium is the noble gas which is most difficult to liquefy. ... The single electron shell of the helium is completely filled and that's why the intramolecular bonding forces is extremely low in the helium molecules.
