Why it is difficult to measure the coefficient of expansion of a liquid than solid?

Answer: It's difficult because in case of solid we can very easily major it by the help of many scales..
But liquid can flow so that we have to store it in a solid container so when the liquid expand because of heat the solid container also expanded so to calculate the real expansion of liquid first we have to minus the expansion of that container
