Why it is difficult to use hydrogen as a source of enrgy

Hydrogen is highly inflammable gas. It can catch fire very easily . If it is not handled properly then it may result in explosion thus resulting a threat to the user. Hence as a safety and security measure Hydrogen is difficult to use as a source of enegry
