why it is easier to keep sliding an object once it has been put in motion than to make it slide from rest?

bcoz of friction.
as you push an object then the interlocking between the floor and object becomes less and as result you would be able to push it easily,while it is at rest then the interlocking between floor and object is high as result you would not able to push it easily
