Why it is easier to pull a lawn roller than to push it?????

It is easier to pull rather than to push as during pulling of the object
The contact with the surface is reduced...
But during pushing the contact with surface is increased..
So frnd all u can say that bcoz of friction it is due to friction that makes pushing hard while pulling easier....

lt is easier to pull the lawn roller because:-

The weight of the lawn roller always acts in downward direction whether it is being pulled or pushed.

However, while pulling the lawn roller, the force is applied in upward direction along the handle of the lawn roller. As a result, the effective weight of the lawn roller decreases.

On the other hand, while pushing it, the force is applied in downward direction along its handle point This, in turn, increases effective weight.
