Why it is easier to stop a tennis ball as compared to cricket ball when both are traveling with the same velocity

Mass of tennis ball > Mass of cricket ball

Force required to stop the ball = F
F = dp/dt

F = m(u - 0)/dt

u and dt is same for both the balls

F ∝ m

Hence tennis ball being lighter than cricket ball will require less force to stop.
